Leon Lewis Jr., CGCIO is a higher education technology executive and scholar-practitioner with more than 30 years of experience in enterprise IT, cybersecurity, ERP and cloud modernization, AI-enabled innovation, service operations, and equity-centered leadership.

His career has moved through programming, networks, enterprise systems, cloud, cybersecurity, GLBA governance, and AI-enabled operations. Across each era, his work has centered on helping institutions understand emerging technology, govern it responsibly, and turn it into practical operating capacity.

Leon is based in Smithfield, North Carolina.
